ABOUT US
Shelly Minderides – Bosworth Theatre Stars
Bosworth Theatre Stars first opened its doors in Sept 2014. The school has grown considerably since then and we are so proud of all our fabulous students.
The school is run by Shelly Minderides, a professional actress with many years’ experience performing in London’s West End theatres, regional tours, commercials and TV.
Shelly danced from a very young age and at 16 was awarded a full scholarship by Cameron Mackintosh to attend the London Studio Centre on a 3-year Musical Theatre Diploma.
On graduating from LSC, she worked on many shows including ‘Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,’ ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’, ‘Me and My Girl’, ‘Aspects of Love’, where she had the privilege of working with Andrew Lloyd Webber, and many more.
Shelly then went on to complete a post-graduate qualification in classical acting at Drama Studio London and graduated with honours. Here she got to work alongside inspirational directors including
‘The Original Shakespeare Company’ director, Patrick Tucker.
Shelly was taught singing under Maureen Scott ( X factor vocal coach) using the Jo Estill approach and after graduating from LSC went on to work as an actor and workshop leader for drama schools prior to setting up Bosworth Theatre Stars.
‘Seeing the children grow in confidence and have fun whilst doing it is such a privilege to be a part of’.
